GKX Please consult the Flight Manual for all flight limitations for GKX. As stated in the Flight Manual “Aerobatics are not permitted”. Spinning is aerobatic hence spins should not be deliberately induced.
BGE has supplementary loading placards attached in the aircraft which supercede the original Flight Manual. The data on the placards was provided by the CTO of the GFA and was ratified by the club’s AWO. To clarify – the minimum solo weight (ie on the front seat for solo flight) is 72 kg. When flown dual approximately 33 % othe rear seat weight is considered to contribute to the calculation of the CofG. Hence if a 90kg pilot occupies the rear seat 30kg of this mass is considered to be “on the front seat” and the front seat pilot must be at least 42kg making the “apparent” front seat mass 72kg. This type of placard is common in two seat aircraft.
