Sunday was a boomer. It was supposed to be a quiet day. Just Barry and a couple of students, Z came down with a flu so Ken Window stepped in for tug duties. No wind to speak of and lots of light fluffy Cu. It looked like it might be OK. Then two students turned into three and we had two new members walk in. Barry took it all in his stride and with the help of Graeme Whitehead a great day was had by all. The lift was a little hard to work at first, thin and gusty thermals in places, ceiling was 5500′. The students were able to have hour long training flights and a couple of us had close to 4 hour flights. Nigel had the fox out and Ms. Joiner, Cooper and Justin had time in that amazing aircraft. Mikala was thrilled at thermalling the fox. Graeme took one of the new members for an introductory flight in the duo which she was wrapped in. Her previous experience was in a puchatek and she was so pleased she offered to wash the aircraft at the end of the day.
