Saturday 17 Jan 09 was one complete day gone with the wind with no flying however Sunday did produce some flyable weather and there were some respectable flight times recorded. Saturday was also the day of the committee meeting, our first for this year. Thank you to those members who put forward their ideas for discussion and also most importantly providing us with your feedback and comments. With now over 100 members we are in the top 10 of gliding club memberships in Australia. With our continuing steady growth, we need to keep ahead of the resource requirements and the fleet management plan is part of this future. This coming weekend is the Australia day long weekend. We are planning to fly for all three days. Lets hope the weather agrees with our plans and we see a good turn out and many flights.
