2009
Off to flying start for 2009 Happy new year to all of our members and friends. We are off to a pretty good start for the first weekend of the new year with flying both days. Saturday was slow with bad weather and only three flights but then Sunday turned out to be great. All of those who hoped the BOM would get it wrong were rewarded with a warm dry day with only light cross wind and yes there were thermals. Ian Perkins passed on some knowledge to three students whose ages ranged from 11 to somewhere over 50 We had so many passenger flights that BGE was booked all day and NTT also took a couple. Thanks to John Feeney as duty pilot and Tony Sorensen for flying the Pawnee. The day went well with no shortage of flights for everyone.
