For those of you who aren't aware this is the best time of year at Boonah (now until end of November). Both Saturday and Sunday saw very good thermal. Cloud base on Saturday was over 8500ft with averages in the order of 4kts. Sunday saw much stronger thermals but a lower cloud base of 6500ft. The DI course was well attended. Thanks to Roger Bond.

John Feeney has already completed the Rimfire task since the AGM.

Nina Krampe and Peter Jowett did their second first solo on Sunday. Congratulations to both and Ross Hall and Phil Slocombe for their instructorial skills.
