Unfortunately there was no flying on Friday due to the wet strip. Saturday was the day of the 30th Anniversary bash and the weather was a treat. Good Q to 7000ft and the last glider came home at 1730 after a three hour flight... yes it was John Feeney who called to ask when last light was from 5000 ft above Mt Maroon at a bit before 1700. Georgo was out hunting in the Shark and his competition finish and water dump certainly impressed the gathered crowd. Sunday saw heavy overcast which never really cleared but although not a cross country day some pilots reported reaching 7000ft again.
