Well we are all finally in Finland. Due to a combination of severe turbulance out of Brisbane (aircraft grounded in Cairns for inspection) and engineers stop work meetings it took over 36 hours to even leave Australia. Maddog went Brisbane Cairns Sydney Tokyo (Jump Seat) Helsinki (38 hours). Andy and Julie went Brisbane Cairns Sydney (overnight) Hong Kong (12 hour delay) Helsinki. It has been raining for the last 2 days, however the wind has now blown the rain away with the sun finally shining (3:30am). There is only a slight possibility of flying today. The gliders have been fitted and sorted out (between freezing showers). The initial briefing is planned for 9:30 this morning.
