Flying conditions for the weekend were ideal with the best conditions saved for Sunday, regular 8kt climbs to 6,500 feet with a good spread of cumulus clouds meant that reasonable cross country flights could be made along the Scenic Rim and to Mt Tambourine. Autumn is perhaps the best time of year to visit Boonah to try gliding, not too hot with clear air and still the possibility to enjoy good flying.
