Valentines Day Weekend 2010

What an outstanding weekend. Great weather and soaring conditions both days. This really is a peak time weather wise through until the end of May. According to our ever efficient Treasurer Peter Sampson there were 34 flights on Saturday all behind WWP + 21 on Sunday including three in  NTT for a total of 55 flights and a total flying time for gliders at 52 hours 48 minutes. The tug flew a little over 7 hours.  There were 19 solo flights totalling 33 hours 28 minutes including 6hrs 20 minutes on Sunday by our resident Skyhog John Feeney in his Wasp ZAI. Personally I had a great weekend in the Duo and NTT introducing several people to the joys of flying at Boonah and instructing in our 21.
